Elm Milennium Edition is an interactive mail system based on Elm 2.4. It contains enhanced MIME and character set support.

Elm Milennium Edition can read mail from POP or IMAP folders and can pass mail to the PGP or GPG programs. It can also view digests as a mailbox and reassemble fragmented (message/partial) messages. It includes modules for TLS/SSL, iconv, and SMTP.

What's New in This Release:

This release collects patches Elm 2.4ME+ PL123d (25) through PL123e (25).

It incorporates the struct knode from Elm 2.5.

It adds a verify-set-sender mailer option to the global elm.rc and adds a -E option to the elmrc-write command.

String catanation now takes account of ISO 2022 sets when selecting a charset for the resulting string.

Handling of the text-charset option and [keywords] is now changed when sending mail.

Unicode data from Unicode 2.0 is replaced with data from Unicode 2.1.9.

This release also adds some new syntax to the terminal.info file, fixes some bugs, and makes changes to UTF-8 handling.
