Mozilla New Mail Icon is an extension which displays an icon in the system tray when new mail arrives in your Mozilla or Mozilla Thunderbird .

Mozilla New Mail Icon supports the standard (FreeDesktop.org) system tray, as used by GNOME, KDE and IceWM.

Requirements:

GTK+ 2.2 (or higher) library.

A GTK+ 2 build of Mozilla or Thunderbird. GTK+ 1.x builds of Mozilla will not work! The Mozilla Suite distributed by Mozilla.org is using GTK+ 1.x while the Mozilla Thunderbird distributed by Mozilla.org is using Gtk+ 2.x.

A desktop environment with a system tray (compliant with the Free Desktop standard: KDE, GNOME, IceWM (running 'icewmtray')

This release fixes installation on Thunderbird 1.5.0.2 and on x86-64 builds of Thunderbird.
