wmlcd-armada can control the brightness of the display on a Compaq Armada E300 / E500 laptop. wmlcd-armada can override the BIOS settings (For example you can set maximum brightness on a minimum power consumption level).

Control:

Left Click - Increase Brightness
Right Click - Decrease Brightness

How to create new themes

In the data/ folder there is a php script to generate .h files from gif images.

Usage :

./xpmConvertor.php file.gif > file.h

You can use this to generate the .h files for new themes. The script has several limitations (number of colors). There is a note in the TODO list about this.
