xCHM is a cross-platform GUI front-end to chmlib, with borrowed bits from Pabs' chmdeco project.

xCHM was originally written for UNIX systems (Linux, *BSD, Solaris), xCHM has been since ported to Mac OS X and Windows.

xCHM can show the content tree if one is available, print pages, change font face and size, remember bookmarks, display a searchable index, and search for words in the current page and the whole book.

Requirements:
You will need wxGTK 2.4 or newer for xCHM version < 1.0, and 2.6 or newer for xCHM 1.0 or later.
xCHM also depends on chmlib.
If you intend to use xCHM as a context-sensitive help tool, you will need XMLRPC++.

What's New in This Release:
A major bug with wxGTK mutilated links is now fixed at the filesystem handler scope, thus printing broken path images works now.
It is now possible to start with a known page instead of the CHM start page (by using an argument of the form "file:fname.chm#xchm:/path/to/page" on the command line).
It is now possible to toggle the contents pane with the F9 key (a la Firefox).
The code was refactored to be wxGTK 2.7.x and 2.8.x friendly.
Swedish and Portuguese translations were added.
