xonclock is X on-screen analog clock displayer with assignable skins. The program was tested to work with WindowMaker and FluxBox, if you are planning to use xonclock with KDE, GNOME and others you should read manual pages of its window managers.

For example using xonclock with KDE 3.2.1 you'll need to set window placement as "Zero-Cornered" (KDE Control Center -> Window Behaviour -> Placement -> Zero-Cornered) otherwise xonclock "--placement" option will take no effect. Using xonclock with KDE, GNOME or XFce the "--no-winredirect" xonclock option is required.

The internal clock skin is taken from ClockX program with its author permission. Additional skins may be found at http://clocx.fi.cz. I'm not the Linux programming guru so if you've found a bug don't swear at me but better fix it and give me a patch.

Requirements:
imlib-1.9.15
make-3.80
gcc-3.3.2
XFree-4.3.0 or XOrg-6.8.2 (with Xrender and Xshape extensions support)
FreeType2-2.1.9

What's New in This Release:
Removed dependency on Imlib2 library.
Imlib2 was being memory glutton in working with internal clock skin.
Now xonclock tries to handle clock images by own.
configure script cleanup.
