Canorus is a free cross-platform music score editor.

Canorus supports an unlimited number and length of staffs, polyphony, a MIDI playback of written notes, chord markings, lyrics, a number of import and export filters to many formats like MIDI, MusicXML, ABC Music, MUP, PMX, MusiXTeX and LilyPond and more!

Canorus is evolving quickly.

Requirements:
Qt4 and Qt4-devel installed (the development files contain headers and qmake)
You need to have at least cmake 2.4.2 installed

What's New in This Release:
Since version 0.0.5, Python scripting support, a plugins subsystem, a MIDI setup dialog, rest insertion, and FunctionMarking support were added.
Canorus's settings are now stored.
.otf fonts were converted to .ttf.
Some crashes were fixed.
Windows compilation is supported by using the MINGW compiler.
A debian/rules file was added to create .deb packages for Debian-based Linux systems.
nsis setup was added to create a Nullsoft Windows installer.
