Common Music (CM) is an object-oriented music composition environment.

Common Music produces sound by transforming a high-level representation of musical structure into a variety of control protocols for sound synthesis and display.

Requirements:
GTK+ version 2.4.x
lisp
cm-core 2.9.1

What's New in This Release:
Introducing SAL, an alternate syntax for working with Common Music. Sal provides commands, statements and infix expressions. It lets you start working with Common Music immediately, without learning any Lisp notation rules. Sal comes with its own Emacs mode (sal.el) with syntax highlighting and command eval services via SLIME.
New pattern macro lets you define complex patterns easily using a loop-like syntax.
RTS real-time scheduler move to C, runs in OpenMCL, SCBL and Gauche Scheme. See RTS statistics for more information.
Portmidi and Midishare systems now run in Gauche Scheme.
