The photos can be organized in albums which can be sorted chronologically, by directory layout or by custom collections. An easy to use interface is provided that enables you to connect to your camera and preview, download and/or delete
digiKam includes too an image editor for image corrections and manipulations whitch can be extended by plugins available in DigikamImagePlugins project.
Showfoto is a stand alone digiKam image editor version. It's support too digiKam image editor plugins framework.
digiKam uses 2 plugin frameworks for additional functionalities:
-KipiPlugins (main interface).
-DigikamImagePlugins (Image Editor and Showfoto).
What's New in This Release:
White Balance tool: remaining endianess issue on PowerPC.
showfoto crashes when doing any modification to a loaded directory.
Album Header cut off (squeezed) when entering two or more lines in Album comment.
When a tag is moved in the left panel it's position is not updated in the right panel.
Lowercasing camera filenames only works for first imported file.
