Unplugged is a simple notification area icon to manage wireless networks.

Unplugged displays a list of available wireless networks and allows selection and configuration of preferred networks. All the low level wireless network handling is performed by wpa_supplicant.

Unplugged doesn't handle configuration of ip-addresses or other non-wlan parameters.

Usage:

When Unplugged is running an icon (icon) is displayed in the notification area. By left clicking on the icon a list of available networks is displayed. Click on a network in the list to connect to it. If an encryption key is required you will be asked to enter it.

Requirements:
  • Python 2.3
  • PyGTK 2.6
  • gnome-python 2.10
  • Python D-BUS 0.23
  • HAL 0.4.5
  • wpa_supplicant 0.4.5
