MKDanix allows you to build Live CD ISO images non-interactively and easily. It uses the latest Debian archives from the stable or unstable Debian branch.

You can add a custom set of packages, documents, texts, and images to create your own personal operating system.

Have you ever dreamed to have your own custom live CD?

Imagine you can:

  • build the cd noninteractively (even newbies can do it),
  • use latest debian archives from stable or unstable Debian suite,
  • add custom set of packages,
  • add custom texts and images,
  • add custom configuration scriptlets.

Imagine what usefull you can do with your Live CD:

  • take it with you everywhere you go to have your favourite desktop environment, editor, music/movie player, ip telephony or crypto software,
  • impress your boss or friends,
  • give it to your customers as a presentation,
  • use it for lecturing, teaching and propagating GNU/Linux or other things,
  • boot it from usb flashdisk or even photo camera,
  • use it for diskless network,
  • save your data and use the PC when your default OS crashes,
  • test quality and compatibility of hardware or software.
