BPM-DJ script combines Amarok with a great DJing tool called BPM-DJ.

So if you want to play DJ with your collection, this could be one way:).

The BPM-DJ player can change tempo, jump around in a track by measures, detect the bpms, has some effects built in and can jump to definable cueing points.

The script adds a menu entry to the context menu of tracks in your playlist with which you can put the selected track on a "virtual turntable" (kbpm-play).
The script just executes kbpm-play with the right parameters -very simple but useful.

You need BPM-DJ for this script to make sense. Check out: http://bpmdj.sourceforge.net

Usage:

Right-click on the track in your playlist, select BPM-DJ and then choose Deck1 or Deck2 to put that track on one of your "virtual turntables" kbpm-play.

Requirements:
Amarok
