Cjots is a console note taker program written in Perl for Linux using Perl's Curses library. It was inspired by KDE's Kjots.

It is designed to fill the need of those who like the functionality of Kjots, but don't like KDE, or who spend most of their time in a terminal, or who just want a simple, robust, usable note taking app.

Cjots is also compatible with the Kjots file format, so files can be shared between the two applications.

Requirements:
Perl

What's New in This Release:
Fixed a bug which didn't prevent the user from proceeding if the file couldn't write (a rare situation - if the disk filled up for example or the file's permissions changed.
Also a small fix which stops bad-looking (but harmless) messages turning up on the console.
And a change to one of the plugin examples in cjots_plugins_sample.
