Qore is a modular, multi-threaded, SQL-integrated, weakly- typed scripting language with procedural and object-oriented features, powerful and easy-to-use data types, structures, and operators, and a clean and easy-to-learn/read syntax.

Qore Programming Language features Oracle and MySQL DBI drivers, optional TIBCO AE integration, and easy date arithmetic, is very scalable on SMP systems, and much more.

What's New in This Release:
This is primarily a bug-fix release from 0.5.2.
The broken Solaris shared build was fixed.
The broken ncurses module was fixed.
Some deadlocks were fixed (in the Queue, SingleExitGate, and Datasource classes).
A bug in chomp was fixed.
Some excess locking with object references were eliminated.
Some memory leaks and memory errors were plugged.
STL container classes are used more where appropriate.
Some new functions were implemented.
