TA3D is a remake of Total Annihilation's engine in full 3D with OpenGl&Allegro. Installing TA3D over Total Annihilation will port Total Annihilation to full 3D!!

TA3D loads maps,units,and more directly from Total Annihilation content. It adds some graphical effects like advanced particle effects for explosions,smoke,... and lots of things you would expect from a 3D engine.

Requirements:
zlib
allegro
allegrogl
almp3 or/and alogg (optional,for ingame music)
jpgallegro (optional, for jpeg support)
hardware acceleration support through opengl

What's New in This Release:
mega zoom!!
a new night sky is drawn depending on planet type
new indicator for aircrafts to easily see where they are
improved support for weapons
bug fix in collision detection code between a ray and a 3do model
bug fix in the code computing the center of a 3do model => units don't shoot their enemy's feet any more
memory bug fixed (crash after game ends fixed)
global performance improvement
new screen when game ends with game stats
a very ugly bug fixed in fx drawing code
wind simulation
improved support of wind and tidal generators
performance improvement in reflection rendering code
support for OTA files with data showing in "maps" menu
a new resource file containing translation for multiple languages
new table for random numbers (a few freeze disapeared)
bug fix in aiming code
