UMTSmon is a tool to control and monitor a 3G (WCDMA, UMTS, HSDPA) card in a laptop. UMTSmon software handles PIN codes, operator choice (roaming), sending/receiving SMS, and the setup of the connection.

What's New in This Release:
This is a feature release, containing several new and exciting features, including improved hardware support (newer Nozomi drivers that use /dev/nozomi*, Huawei E612 and Novatel U630).
The support for PIN code entry has been improved, while entering PUK codes is new.
It is now also possible to use umtsmon to start a PPP connection, using multiple dialup profiles.
