Personalbackup project is a company-wide solution for backing up all your Windows machines and Samba shares.
Personalbackup uses a web frontend for the users and administrators. No client software is needed at all to pull backups of your critical data.
Requirements:
First of all you need to have a perl interpreter.
Secondly you need to install the following perl modules
Archive::Tar
CGI
CGI::Cookie
CGI::Session
Date::ISO
DBI
Filesys::SmbClient
HTML::Template
POSIX
URI::Escape
('perl -MCPAN -e shell' is your friend here)
Thirdly you need install a PostgreSQL database
Lastly, you'll need a webserver running on your system, with CGI support enabled for the directory you plan on installing PersonalBackup in.
