Elisa is a project to create a media center solution for GNU/Linux and Unix operating systems. It runs on top of the GStreamer multimedia framework.

In addition to personal video recorder functionality (PVR) and Music Jukebox support, Elisa also interoperates with devices following the DLNA standard, like Intel's ViiV systems.

What's New in This Release:
Simple subtitle files support, Elisa looks for srt, sub, smi, ssa files named like the video file to play.
New player dock, displaying status informations about the playing media. Trick modes support, you can increase/decrease playback speed, play some media formats can be played back in reverse.
The pigment library can now display large pictures (using texture tiling) and there's now color space conversion pixel shaders to improve video playback.
