To compile the program, you must first run the `configure' script included with the source tar ball. It works just like any other standard GNU `autoconf' created script. See the more generic configure related installation instructions below.
For complete list of options, try `configure --help'.
Note: Please run `./autogen.sh' script before `./configure', if you are compiling FreeIPMI source from CVS.
# ./configure --prefix=/usr
# make install
What's New in This Release:
ipmiconsole has been added.
IPMI 2.0 and Serial-Over-LAN (SOL) configuration have been added to bmc-config.
OpenIPMI driver support has been added to bmc-info, ipmi-raw, ipmi-sel, and ipmi-sensors. bmc-info, ipmi-raw, ipmi-sel, and ipmi-sensors out-of-band communication has been made more reliable.
The options --wait-until-on, --wait-until-off, and --retry-wait-timeout have been added to ipmipower.
