Jabberzilla is an extension which adds a Jabber IM Client for Firefox.
When most think of Jabber, they think of instant messaging, and there's a pretty good reason for that. Jabber is the first open source instant messaging platform. With Jabber, independent people and organziations can instantly send secure text messages to each other without subscribing to the likes of Yahoo!, MSN, or AOL. They can indicate that they are open for conversation, or put up a "Do not disturb" sign by using presence. The most important thing about Jabber, is that it all can happen in real-time, right now, without the delays inherent in other technologies.
When most people think of Mozilla they think of the great browser suite that is the foundation for the Netscape Suite, and that's for good reason too.
Now comes the new part, a new question: What if you took the strengths of these two strong, seasoned technologies and combined them to create a new platform for the 'Real-Time Internet?'
