Clash is a tool for making bootable Compact Flash/Mini ISO systems.
Clash includes scripts for preparing the image, some essential root filesystems ready to use with the scripts, tools to help you build your own root filesystem from scratch, and documentation describing all the steps involved in preparing the image.
The root filesystems supplied are all networking-oriented and include wireless tools.
What's New in 2.9 Release:
Issue with blackbox not building correctly in some environments.
It builds fine on slack 9/9.1 but not on my slack 10.
Apparently I'm missing some headers on my slack 10 (maybe X devel).
Issues with other distributions ... see Doc/README.distributions
I have also had clash.conf zeroed out on slackware 10.1 but only when using xterm (or similar gome term, rxvt ... etc), so I guess the best thing to do right now is to run this tool from text environment. I've done some work to try to minimize this in any case.
There is an issue with boot faliure dew to root not being mounted attributed to a bug in syslinux 2.10.
Remember that in any case you will also need mtools for syslinux to work correctly.
