httpremote_amarok serves as a remote control and status display based on a web browser.
The browser may run on the same machine as amaroK, on another desktop machine or - which makes most sense - on a smart phone/PDA/web tablet/... connected via wireless network interface (e.g. Bluetooth, WLAN, or IrDA).
After starting httpremote_amarok, just open the URL http://< host >:< port >/httpremote in your browser. Assuming that you run amaroK on the machine with IP address 192.168.0.2 and you use the default port, this would be: http://192.168.0.2:50000/httpremote
Click on the amaroK logo to update the page without sending any command.
Requirements:
perl
DCOP
DCOP::Amarok
DCOP::Amarok::Player
HTTP::Daemon
HTTP::Headers;
HTTP::Response
HTTP::Status
XML::Simple
amaroK
