JExifViewer is a Java program for displaying and comparing Exif informations stored in JPEG files created by digital cameras. JExifViewer is an Open Source project released under the GPL.
JExifViewer has an image viewer in which you can rotate and/or flip, zoom in/out the selected image. You can also print an image.
You can also rename, copy, move and delete images.
At the moment JExifViewer is localized in English and German.
A short online help is available for JExifViewer.
Installation:
tar xzf linux_jexifviewer.tar.gz
cd jexifviewer
./jstart
Requirements:
Java runtime JRE 1.5
What's New in This Release:
Date and time stamps are displayed using locales.
Timestamps taken from the filesystem can be displayed in the table.
The background color of the image viewer can be chosen.
Better performance in image displaying (fewer gc calls).
Tested with 64-bit Java runtime (Linux).
Some bugfixes.
Preloading is done in a sequential way for better performance.
You can rename, copy, move, and delete images listed in the table.
Language can be selected by the user.
File size can be displayed in the table.
