Live-Generator is an integrated pack of scripts for building LiveCDs based on Aurox Linux. The user must fill in the config file (for custom wallpaper, bootsplash, etc.) located in the main Live-Generator directory and run 'generate-live'.
It creates a base Aurox installation in the specified directory, and installs custom packages listed in the config file). Live-Generator uses Yum to download packages from repositories.
Scripts prepare a custom home directory with specified settings. mksquashfs compresses the root directory to an img file, and mkisofs creates the final ISO file.
How it works?
To get scripts working You must:
1. download live-generator scripts,
2. downloads automatic home generation scripts and copy it's contens of root directory into live-generator's root.
3. run scripts from root account
At the first stage scripts are creating a base Aurox installation in the specified directory and installing custom packages listed in the config file. Live-Generator uses Yum to download packages from repositories (You can define Your own repos of course).
At next, scripts are preparing a custom home directory with specified settings (You can change this settings by changing it's values in Live-Generator's config file). Next mksquashfs is compressing the root directory to an img file, and mkisofs creating the final ISO file.
