mntcdimg script tries to mount a ISO9660 image file on a specified mount point (or /mnt/cdrom when no mount point is given) via the loop device.
If mounting fails, it tries to insert the loop device module into the kernel and tries again. If you don't have loop device support in your kernel, it will fail. mntcdimg must be executed as root, since only root can mount via the loop device.
