MuX2d is a graphical music notation editor which outputs MusiXTeX files. The primaty target of MuX2d for the moment is to support all features of MusiXTeX. The current status of the source code is early stageof development.

Here are some key features of "MuX2d":
create score with up to 6 instruments
up to 4 staffs per instrument
add simple notes (full, half, ... 1/64) with accidentals, rests and bars (upbars supported)
multible heads on one note (chord)
automatic beams between notes (optional manual correction)
set different signatures and meters
load/store (simple text format)
creating MusiXTeX file
text in the score

What's New in This Release:
nicer layout (different frames for different states)
optimized memory usage (usage is shown)
more screen update to show MuX2d is alive
many fixes in screen and TeX output
