Pterodactl is a Firefox image saving extension.

Pterodactl is designed to save the largest image on a page and optionally the largest images on all the tabs after the current one.

Currently this extension adds a "Save images..." item to the Tools menu.

Requirements:
Firefox 1.5 - 2.0.0.* ALL

Here are some key features of "Pterodactl":
saves the largest image on a page to your local computer
remembers the last directory you saved to
automatically renames the file if there's already a file in the directory with the same name
has a setting to optionally saves the largest images on all tabs subsequent to the current one
