Saddle is a gui tool for mounting devices under Linux. It uses SDL so you get pretty graphics, a has some real intelligence so you don't need to understand how mounting works at all, or write config files or nothing.
For example, if you run it as a non-root user, it will only show user-mountable devices.
Here are some key features of "Saddle":
No configuration needed, works out of the box on any system (I said it was intelligent)
Normal users see only user-mountable devices
Root sees all devices
Knows which items in fstab not to show (/proc, /sys etc.)
Can handle network mounts
Low resources (fast)
Compatible with any desktop environment
Themeable.
Requirements:
SDL
Xmessage (or command-line compatible replacement)
Konqueror (or any other file manager)
