SVM-root-mirror is a script to mostly automate the process of setting up a Solaris host with mirrored root using SVM.
I've tested it on two machines so far; both appear to be working flawlessly now. Both machines run Solaris 9 04/20904.
The script has a bit of an affinity for controller 0, but is designed to work with other controllers too (except that it won't set the boot-device in the eeprom for you if your root filesystems aren't both on controller 0).
What's New in This Release:
The script can now mirror a pair of drives that aren't for the system disk, for example, for user data or similar.
Some as-yet-benign shell quoting issues were fixed.
A bugfix was made in the (optional) partition exclusion code.
A bug in the dup-label script detection code was fixed.
