Timer Applet is a countdown timer applet for the GNOME panel.
Here are some key features of "Timer Applet":
Quickly set a timer and the applet will notify you when time is up
Add multiple Timer Applets to the panel to have different timers running simultaneously
Create presets for quick access to frequently-used times
Each applet remembers your last-used timer, even after you log out
User interface follows the GNOME Human Interface Guidelines
Translations: Basque, French, German, Polish, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish.
Requirements:
GNOME 2.6.x or newer
What's New in This Release:
libnotify support was added.
The timer now uses a pulsing button animation rather than a dialog to indicate that a timer has finished.
A libnotify notification balloon also pops up momentarily.
The applet now hides the Presets menu if it's empty.
New translations were added for Esperanto (eo), Finnish (fi), Italian (it), and Korean (ko).
Lots of code refactoring and clean up was done.
Timer Applet now requires GTK+ 2.8 or later and libnotify 0.3.0 or later.
