Tubetrack is a little utility that sits on your desktop, periodically updating its dot matrix indicator display with the next set of trains due to arrive or depart via the following services:
London Tube ETA
London DLR Daisy
UK National Rail
Dublin DART
Tubetrack is not affiliated with Transport for London, National Rail or Iarnr?d ?ireann in any way, it displays the same information on your desktop as you would receive in your browser.
Tubetrack will run happily on Mac OS X, Mac OS 9, Linux (SuSE and RedHat - GTK 2) and Microsoft Windows. An internet connection of some sort is required in order for the train information to update.
Do you work or live close to a Tube, DLR, DART or UK rail station? Rather than making a mad dash and then facing an indefinite wait at the station, check Tubetrack for your next train. Then pop down to the station when you're ready!
Transport for London are currently running adding live arrivals information to their site on the web. The information consists of the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern, Victoria and Metropolitan lines and the DLR stations. Keep an eye on the Tube ETA web site for more lines soon. A new version of Tubetrack shouldn't be far behind. All rail stations throughout the UK should be available - if one isn't, check National Rail's web site.
Tubetrack software is free to download and use.
