USBSink is a GNOME program for file synchronization over USB. USBSink is designed for users of removable drives, such as flash drives or external hard disks.
The goal is to have a complete automation of data trasfers, after a task has been defined. With file monitoring and hardware detection features, USBSink is able to respond and act according to relevant events across the desktop.
Requirements:
GTK+ version 2.8.x
gtkmm/gnomemm
D-Bus
HAL
libpcre
gamin or FAM
At the moment, it compiles only with gcc 4.x.
What's New in This Release:
Logging has been moved away from the main window and visible through a separate dialog, with each task keeping one log for itself. Statusbar shows some basic messages regarding task syncing and drive (un)mounting.
Important: settings are now stored in ~/.config/usbsink. All users should copy the contents of their ~/.usbsink directory to this new directory, so that the program can continue to use all the tasks and ignore file lists previously created.
