Yamefa is a new Linux distribution based on Kubuntu, so it's a complete operating system including many softwares.
Yamefa is distributed as only one bootable CD (LiveCD) which allows you to test the system without installing it.
An installatior is present on the CD, you can start the wizard and browse the Web whereas the system is installing.
Yamefa contains many sofwares of which :
the Mozilla Firefox Web browser
with Sage extension (improved RSS feeds reader)
the Mozilla Thunderbird mail reader
with Lightning extension (calendar)
the Gimp image editor
the OpenOffice.org office suite
Yamefa can be installed in 58 languages (two are supported on the CD : french and english, for the others, the language packages are downloaded during the installation or updates).
