CAELinux is a live DVD Linux distribution dedicated to computer aided engineering and finite element analysis. Based on PcLinuxOs, it features a full software solution for professional 3D FE analysis from CAD geometry.

It includes the Salome 3D pre/post processor, Code_Aster non-linear/multi- physics FE solver, GMSH 3D pre/post processor, GNU Octave, Scilab, and more.

What's New in This Release:
This release has been updated to Salome 3.2.1 and Aster STA8.3.
It adds BRL-CAD, Blender, gCad3D, and GraphiteOne.
An English HTML version of Code-Aster documentation is included.
There are new tools for FE mesh conversion from Salome UNV to Elmer, Calculix, and OpenFOAM.
OpenFOAM 1.2 install and start scripts have been fixed to run for all users, and there is a precompiled unvToFoam plugin.
Settings in Gerris have been corrected and verified.
The VMWare version is now compatible with FAT32 partitions (virtual disk files split into 2GB parts).
