This tool is a quite simple cron job that updates a debian system (by default only apt-get update) using apt-get.

You can configure it to do anythig that you can do by running apt-get. If there is a failure it send an email to the system administrator so he/she can fix the error.

What's New in This Release:
This release makes it possible to create a file that makes cron-apt silently exit.
This is useful for dial-up connections.
There are manual updates as well.
