Eiciel allows you to visually edit file ACL entries. You can add and remove users and groups who will be granted permissions through the graphical interface.
Eiciel is developed in C++ with gtkmm-2.x. Eiciel project is initially targeted for GNU/Linux but it also works in FreeBSD 5.x. Support for Solaris would be nice, but let delay it till they have a POSIX ACL-like interface.
Requirements:
gtkmm-2.4
nautilus-2.10
nautilus-extensions-1.0 (if not provided by nautilus-2.10)
acl (libacl1 in Debian/Ubuntu, libacl in Redhat/Fedora)
attr (libattr in Debian/Ubuntu/Redhat/Fedora)
What's New in This Release:
It adds support for Extended User Attributes.
