GtkDive is a dive simulation based on the Buehlmann ZH-L16 algorithm implementation.

The program simulates the saturation of 16 compartments as a result of compression and decompression processes.

Furthermore it offers some basic calculations such as best mix, nitrox blending, EAD, and MOD.

Usage:

Simulating a dive:

Simply chose your depth and click "dive" for every minute you want to dive.

If the maximum tolerated ambient pressure is greater than air pressure (i.e. you are not allowed to dive directly to the surface without a highly increased risk of decompression illness) you will be see a message in the statusbar.

Loading a dive:

Load a file in udcf format and select a dive contained in that file. Clicking "dive" will re-simulate the loaded dive data until a new depth is entered.

The upper progress bar of each tissue shows the gas saturation, the lower progress bar shows the gas pressure in the tissue (100% means bubbles).

The calculation of best gas, nitrox blending, EAD and MOD should be pretty selfexplanatory.

Requirements:
GTK+ version 2.4.x

What's New in This Release:
A compilation problem was fixed.
