KWebGet is a frontend to the great wget. It comes with nearly the same functionallity, but the
user won?t have to type such long commandline-arguments.
It can be used to download single Files, and to download complete Websites, which can be browsed offline.
This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.
Requirements:
A KDE-3.x-installation (kde-qt-addon, kdelibs)
QT-3.x
Installation:
After downloading the package, you have to unpack it with:
'tar xfvIp kwebget-0.8.1.tar.bz2' (as b2zip-packed Archiv), or with
'tar xfvzp kwebget-0.8.1.tar.gz' (as gzip-packed Archiv).
In the new folder 'kwebget' you have to proceed the following steps:
./configure
make
# and as root
make install

Bugfix: This release fixes the wizard buttons, which previously deadlocked under some versions of Qt.
