libdaisy library is an engine for parsing Digital Talking Books (DTB) according to the Daisy ANSI/NISO standard Z39.86-2005 and Daisy 2.02.

Installation:

From package:

Install the Debian package, using 'dpkg -i libdaisy_0.2.2_i386.deb'.

From source:

'tar -zxvf libdaisy_0.2.2.tar.gz'
'cd libdaisy_0.2.2'
'make'
'make install' or 'make install DESTDIR=/tmp/foo'

Usage:

Together with a frontend it plays Daisy DTB.

This library parses Daisy books, and can be implemented in frontends by using 'libdaisy.h' and linking against libdaisy.
