MXM is a replacement for sendmail. It is especially designed for dial-up connections, but permanent connections will do fine too.

It can handles 1-user account, multiple-user and complete domains. That last option includes automatic forwarding to the other hosts in the domain.

This program is free for personal use. Commercial users: please contact me on the e-mail address mentioned below the line.

This program is far from finished. It works mostly without bugs, altough sometimes it looks like connections get lost. I'm not sure, though, if that's a bug in MXM or a problem at my provider.

The first time you start MXM it spawns a child-process which stays resident. That child we'll accept incoming connections and place the incoming mail in the queue.

Every 2nd, 3d, etc. time MXM is executed, it'll go trough the queue and deliver any mail waiting. For details on the configurationfile; go trough the configuration-file
