NIS is a nautilus script, that can resize a selection of images.

I did this script because I need to easily resize and compress my images shots with my camera to export it on my web gallery.

Usage:

untar it
Save it in ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/
set the script runnable

With Nautilus, just select images that you want to resize, then right click -> scripts -> resize

Requirements:
zenity (replace gtkdialog)
imagemagick

What's New in This Release:
correct filename with space
create subdirectory in to generate reduced image
