PhareRouge is a GNU/Linux compatible version of the "RedLight Variety Alpha" Japanese-enabled Hotline client and server.
Some new features were also added. PhareRouge uses Java so also runs under Windows and Macintosh.
Requirements:
Java 1.4.2 or later
What's New in This Release:
Nickname list random bug that I thought was fixed is actually not fixed...
Modifications outline :
File dialogs now show hidden files.
New option : default and last upload directory.
Last download directory feature is now set up application-wide and is persistent.
Now possible to select a different location for every download.
Server log : fixed an encoding bug and put a time stamp.
People who connect to the server don't first connect as a dummy anymore.
New options : start server automatically, login as admin automatically, change admin nickname.
Now possible to post in news (at least once) in English. (It was possible in Japanese before.)
