SDE for Eclipse is a UML modeling environment tightly integrated with the Eclipse IDE.
It lets you draw all types of UML diagrams (use case diagrams, class diagrams, component diagrams, etc.) in Eclipse, reverse source code (Java, C++, XML, XML Schema, CORBA IDL, etc.) to UML models, and generate Java source from UML diagrams.
SDE for Eclipse Professional Edition features the latest UML notation support, a Rational Rose importer, an XMI importer, Microsoft Visio integration, HTML/PDF documentation generators, and plug-in and template support.
What's New in This Release:
A new persistent architecture improves speed and memory usage in handling middle to large scale projects, both in local and teamwork environments.
You can design your own notation with Shape Editor.
Data Flow Diagram is supported.
A large diagram can be sliced into a specified number of output images.
You may add files, URLs, and diagram references to models for elaboration or navigation purposes.
Instant Reverse can visualize your implementation as a Class diagram with a few clicks.
The program can be configured to use specific applications or commands to open different types of files.
The Viewer Edition is free for browsing your project.
