Wooty is a small perl/gtk script created by Eric Parish. The program is designed to check woot.com for new items without having to open up a browser. Wooty is designed for the GNOME desktop and Linux/Unix platforms.

Installiation:
Install requirements
Ubuntu: sudo apt-get install libwww-perl libgtk2-perl libgtk2-trayicon-perl libnotify-bin
Extract archive
tar -zxf woot-0.1.tar.gz
Run install.sh
./install.sh
Add wooty as a startup program in your GNOME session
