CoLT makes it easier than ever to copy a hyperlink's associated text. For example, if I were to use this extension to copy this link to my blog, the copied text would quite literally be this link to my blog.

CoLT also includes a means of copying both a link's text and URL at the same time. This feature is particularly handy for bloggers, web developers, or anyone else who finds themselves writing links to other places on the web.

As of the latest release, there are five separate formats available for copying both the link text and location; two fixed formats and three custom formats.

The samples below use the same example as above and demonstrate the default behavior for the custom formats:

HTML Link
Plain Text
Custom Format 1 (BBCode, by default)
Custom Format 2 (FuseTalk, by default)
ustom Format 3 (Wikipedia, by default)

CoLT places these two menu items in the browser's context menu.

To reduce clutter, each menu item is only visible when the context menu is opened by right-clicking a hyperlink. And either menu item can be hidden, if you so desire.

Requirements:
Firefox 1.0 - 2.0b2 ALL
