Epsilon is a small utility package. Divmod Epsilon project depends on tools too recent for Twisted (like datetime in python2.4) but performs generic enough functions that it can be used in projects that don't want to share Divmod's other projects' large footprint.
Currently it includes a powerful date/time formatting and import/export class, for exchanging date and time information between all Python's various ways to interpret objects as times or time deltas, and some tools for managing concurrent asynchronous processes within Twisted.
What's New in This Release:
This release includes a new class for defining simple record types, an implementation of the JUICE protocol, a module for managing SSL certificates, certificate verification, and certificate signature requests, a Python trace hook for logging everything that happens in a Python program, and a simple benchmark tool with support for reporting on both time and I/O resource usage.
