You can start and stop the service as you need to. Planned features included filtering by league or favourite teams. Gnome Goal is GPL. This program is dedicated to the family, and the memory of, the late great Brian Clough, Britains last great working class hero.

At the moment, ggoal will not clear out its cash of goals, so you should not leave it running for weeks on end. This will be fixed in the next release. The parsing code could also be improved, and because of the fact that the DBUS API is all over the place, this code my not compile on your distro. Feel free to send me a patch if you want to #ifdef out a version that compiles for you.

Requirements:
dbus
gtk2
