Putmail is a very lightweight MTA or SMTP client, distributed under the terms of the X Consortium License.

What's New in This Release:
There were very small changes to improve compatibility with sendmail's command line arguments.
The program now prints errors and warnings to a log file so users can read them when stderr is not available.
It also creates a sample configuration file the first time you run it in order to ease configuration.
