Filecentral is a filesystem browser and file manager. It uses the navigational model of the OSX finder, but tries to integrate into the GNOME Desktop. It uses gnome-vfs and is thus also able to manage remote files.

Filecentral is programmed in C, the best programming language to shoot yourself in the foot.

Requirements:
libgnome-2.0 >= 2.6
libgnomeui-2.0 >= 2.6
eel-2.0 >= 2.6
gtk+-2.0 >= 2.4.0
libglade-2.0 >= 2.4.0
gnome-vfs-module-2.0 >= 2.4.0
gnome-desktop-2.0 >= 2.4.0

What's New in This Release:
Filecentral 0.0.8 brings you several new features. Well, at least one is new to filecentral, the other is an old aquaintance: deleting files and copy trough drag&drop. Filecentral gets more dangerous with every release, so be aware that:

Filecentral is pre-alpha-ware. Do not use for productive works. It may eat you files. You have been warned.
make all; make install DOES NOT WORK right now. To execute Filecentral, you have to go to the sources directory and start Filecentral with ./filecentral
No translation whatsoever. I still don't know how to use gettext. Shame on me.
