Picard is the Next-Generation MusicBrainz Tagger. The project code-named Picard is the next generation MusicBrainz tagging application.

This new tagging concept is Release oriented, as opposed to track oriented like the ClassicTagger was.

Picard is written in Python, which is a cross-platform language - this allows the same code to run both on Windows and on Linux.

Requirements:
python-musicbrainz2
TunePimp

What's New in This Release:
This release provided a better way to stop the local HTTP server, fixing freezes on exit when using a proxy server.
Dragging of directories from Picard's browser to MB releases was fixed.
File names containing '&' are now displayed correctly in the status bar.
The %country file naming variable works again.
Only the Unicode functions from gettext are used.
If the directory from the last session doesn't exist, the program now tries to find the first existing one in the same path.
